Asha Kiran Kamble – Director & Program Manager for Humble Smile Foundation India
Asha Kiran Kamble is a SHG, microfinance, livelihood, Skill development, women empowerment and women welfare, health, education, and community development specialist. She has been working in this sector for 30 long years.
Asha Kamble is also a training and development consultant. She has experience in organizational development, capacity building and business growth for 21 years. She is currently working at Humble Smile Foundation India as director overseeing program in the area of community development related to oral health and capacity building, engaging with 125 self-help groups from marginalized communities in Kalava, Bhaskar Nagar, with a prestigious Masters (MBA) in social entrepreneurship at NMIMS, a diploma in Business Management and Behavioral Sciences from Indian Institute for Applied Behavioral Science.
Asha has acquired international and national training experience in the microfinance and human behavior sector that has enabled her to contribute significantly towards envisaging strategy, incubating business verticals, building stakeholder’s capacities, evolving business structures, and building long term partnership models. Starting her career at the grass roots as community worker with Nav Nirman, an organization focused on providing financial and non-financial services to underprivileged communities in Mumbai, Asha’s insight and extensive work experience enabled her to grow to a leadership position as an Executive Director in the organization where she headed the microfinance, health and micro-health insurance portfolios, women empowerment project, Transgender project, Migrant worker project and skill development project. which together reached out to over 140,000 beneficiaries in Mumbai.
Her key skillset includes leadership and diversified training experience of both end beneficiaries and development organizations. Asha has shared her expertise at key forums and educational institutions such as the Tata Institute of Social Sciences and has managed relationships with international funding organizations and state governments. She is a member of Indian Institute for Applied Behavioral Sciences.

Nipun Kaushik, a National Law University alumnus, basically a lawyer by education and an environmentalist at heart, has been working with the NGO sector for over a decade now. He has worked on leadership roles in the likes of SOS Children’s Villages of India and Oxfam India other than supporting multiple grassroots organizations also being on their Board helping them both strategically and functionally. It is his absolute passion to translate his ideas into action that he engages with the school and college students and provoke thought and action amongst them.
In the last year itself that is 2020-21, he has interacted with over 200 schools and colleges across the country on e-waste management, water conservation, and theatre workshops with teachers. He had been invited by the likes of IIT Kharagpur, DNLU-Jabalpur, CNLU-Patna, RMNLU-Lucknow and NLU-D, Delhi amongst many others to interact with the students on environmental conservation focusing on legal and action aspects of it.
He is currently serving full time as the Director- Operations & Partnerships at Eco Roots Foundation other than being on the Advisory Board of Janhit Foundation and on board of Avtar Development Foundation.

Advocate M. S. Shah (Mohamad Shafiq Shah) has completed his Batchelor’s in Law from Rizvi Law College, Mumbai in the year 2014 and since then has been practicing and handling cases independently with a result oriented approach, both professionally and ethically and has now acquired over 8 years of professional experience in providing legal consultancy and advisory services in Criminal Law, Family Law and in Cyber Law.
